About the role
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Power Electronics Engineer to join our hardware engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of power conversion systems. Working closely with senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience developing cutting-edge power topologies, selecting hardware components, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
What you'll do
- Assist senior engineering staff in designing and analyzing power electronic circuits, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC rectifiers, and inverters
- Perform circuit simulations using tools like LTspice, PLECS, or MATLAB/Simulink to verify design concepts
- Participate in schematic capture and review PCB layouts, focusing on high-current and high-frequency routing
- Build, test, and troubleshoot prototype circuit boards in the lab using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic loads
- Collect, document, and analyze test data to verify compliance with design requirements
