About the role
The IQC Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet defined quality standards before they are released to production. This role focuses on developing inspection processes, supplier quality management, and ensuring early detection of non-conforming parts to prevent line disruptions and quality issues in finished products.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement incoming inspection plans and criteria for raw materials, electronic components, and mechanical parts
- Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance and lead improvement initiatives
- Review and update IQC work instructions, sampling plans, and inspection checklists based on specifications and standards
- Analyze incoming inspection data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities
- Lead the investigation of non-conforming materials and work with suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA, 8D, CAPA)
