About the role
The Senior Software Engineer designs and delivers applications — primarily web-based — in adherence to established coding standards and guidelines. The role probes to gauge what clients state and what they leave unsaid, then shapes those needs into system requirements the team can build against.
What you'll do
- Apply a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle, the broader application development landscape
- Create project plans for small-scale initiatives and take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules, independently developing features using the approved technology stack
- Apply structured troubleshooting and debugging practices to resolve issues with speed and efficiency
- Review peer code and recommend improvements in quality, performance, and maintainability
- Participate fully in Agile ceremonies, operating in line with the principles of the Agile manifesto
