About the role
A Senior Mechanical Engineer is a skilled engineering professional who contributes to our engineering design projects. This person will often participate in the ISC Stage-Gate Product Development Process as a Mechanical Engineer.
What you'll do
- This position is responsible for the detailed mechanical design throughout the Product Development life-cycle
- This position may occasionally be involved in Enhancement & Sustaining projects for ISC legacy products
- This position is expected to work closely with various cross-functional groups to fully assure a properly designed product from concept to production
- Designing mechanical components and assemblies such as enclosures and pneumatics
- Optimize designs utilizing materials and manufacturing process knowledge
