Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Frontline, a financial services company providing outsourcing services for our law firm clients, is looking for a reliable and precise accounting professional who will play an important role in building an Accounts Payable department. The Accounts Payable team maintains current accounts and assists in invoice processing functions.

What you'll do

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Paying vendors by scheduling payments and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
• Monitoring vendor payment agreements to identify discounts that can reduce invoice amounts
• Paying all applicable sales tax and maintaining records of each tax payment
