SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to design, configure, and optimize our enterprise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycles. The ideal candidate will translate intricate material sourcing workflows, multi-level release strategies, vendor evaluation models, and inventory control frameworks into highly automated and scalable enterprise solutions.

What you'll do

• Configure core SAP MM components , including Purchasing documents (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts), Master Data (Material, Vendor/Business Partner, Info Records, Source Lists)
• Design complex release procedures with and without classification for purchasing requisitions and purchase orders, utilizing dynamic approval workflows
• Optimize Valuation and Account Assignment parameters , aligning material movement types with automatic general ledger account determination rules in finance
• Implement robust Inventory Control strategies , configuring Split Valuation, Batch Management, Serial Number profiles, and Special Stocks (Consignment, Subcontracting)
• Configure Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV) pipelines, managing invoice parsing, tolerance limits, price variances, and automated blocking/release mechanisms
