About the role
The Field Support Engineer will play a critical on-floor role in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations by providing real-time support for MES, production systems, and connected devices. Working in rotating 12-hour shifts, the role will help minimize downtime, resolve technical issues quickly, and maintain device and system health across the plant.
What you'll do
- Provide on-floor technical support for manufacturing systems, equipment, and connected devices to ensure continuous production
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MES, hardware, electronics, networking, and system connectivity
- Monitor device health, identify abnormalities, and support preventive corrective actions to reduce downtime
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to restore operations quickly during incidents
- Perform basic SQL-based checks, data validation, and issue diagnosis within production support systems
