The CATT Quality Assurance (QA) Tester fulfills a key role in RSM’s SSDLC and is responsible for analysis of non-functional requirements for web-based software and APIs using structured techniques to identify testable conditions; prepare and execute performance test plans for load, stress and performance testing (including building performance test suite from scratch) and scripts ensuring alignment with standards and ensure thorough testing takes place for meeting all designated software…

What you'll do

• Works with Product Owners and BAs to understand requirements (functional and non-functional)
• Creates and maintains test plan/suite of test cases (including expected and actual results), using QA test methodologies and standards
• Executes test cases; defines the steps to reproduce the issue; categorizes the defect by severity; works with the product team to determine root-cause; verifies the fix
• Automates test cases to achieve higher efficiency without sacrificing quality
• Creates test cases and plans for integration and user acceptance testing
