About the role
Supplier Quality & Development Subject Matter Expert is responsible for leading a developing new innovative ideas and solutions at supply base with Engineering based on GBE’s targets aligned with Quality and Procurement organization goals ensuring that our suppliers meet our quality and delivery performance standards for APQP and PPAP requirements.
What you'll do
- Support development and drive consistent implementation of a new business framework to foster supplier innovation
- Support legal framework for Innovation projects, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Technology Collaboration Agreements and other development agreements
- Support implementation of new Core vs. Non-Core and economics-driven Make vs. Buy decision making processes
- Deploy strategy to generate & protect IP for key external manufacturing processes (e.g. develop foreground IP, patented design features, trade secrets with suppliers
- Deliver a Talent Strategy to Develop Expertise in Key Differentiating Processes in the Supply Base and Process Engineering
