About the role
The Chief Software Architect, Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Digital, is responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end technology strategy, architecture roadmap, and design standards for PCS Digital applications. The role provides technical leadership across applications that support mission-important and mission-support clinical and service workflows across the PCS ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Define and own the technology strategy and architecture roadmap for PCS Digital applications
- Establish architecture standards and guardrails across data, applications, deployment, cybersecurity, reliability, observability, lifecycle management
- Drive common architecture patterns and reusable solutions that improve scalability, maintainability, serviceability, security, and cost efficiency
- Define architecture principles for resiliency, disaster recovery, elasticity, performance, and infrastructure cost management
- Drive rigorous technical design reviews across PCS Digital, ensuring disciplined assessment of trade-offs related to safety, reliability, cybersecurity, cost, schedule
