About the role
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems that support new product development and the installed product base.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, validate, and support mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives
- Apply sound mechanical engineering principles, design standards, and best practices to deliver robust, reliable, and compliant engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain
- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including concept development, architecture, detailed design, prototyping, verification, validation
- Perform engineering analyses, design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and technical evaluations to support design decisions
