About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, You'll be responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. You will be responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation. GE Healthcare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator.
What you'll do
- Identify the scope of work, develop realistic effort estimates, and justify assumptions using data and facts
- Leverage AI-powered development tools and coding assistants to improve engineering productivity, code quality, test generation, debugging efficiency, and documentation
- Participate in technical discussions, contribute to architecture and design decisions
- Drive the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and establishment of best practices
- Maintain high code quality through coding standards, peer reviews, unit testing, automation, and continuous integration practices
