About the role
This role is part of the IT Finance Systems team and provides senior solution leadership for Revenue Recognition as GE HealthCare migrates from Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Oracle Fusion Cloud. We are looking for a revenue accounting practitioner who has delivered multiple ERP implementations across industries and can bring leading practices that go beyond any single platform.
What you'll do
- Act as the design authority for revenue recognition: define target-state business processes and the solution architecture across contract and performance obligation…
- Advise Finance, Controllership, Commercial, Tax, and business leaders on leading practices in revenue accounting
- Lead revenue recognition design for contract and transaction scenarios, including performance obligations, allocation, satisfaction events, contract modifications
- Define and govern the use and integration of Revenue Management, Subledger Accounting, General Ledger, and upstream order, billing
- Provide hands-on application leadership for configuration, setup validation, and prototyping, and assess downstream business, accounting, control, security, reporting
