About the role
This position involves understanding the design of components and developing them within an application or product. The role requires strong hands-on experience in development, preferably using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services. The candidate will collaborate with team members to understand and integrate these components within and across subsystems.
What you'll do
- Implement IoT solutions utilizing AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, and other relevant AWS IoT services
- Develop, deploy and test microservices using ECS/EKS-based containerized applications using Docker and ECS/EKS and Lambda
- Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot and test using Python BDD
- Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and test automation
- Participate in software design reviews, conduct code reviews and peer testing for other members in the team
