About the role
As a Digital & Technology Quality Engineer , you will help ensure the quality and reliability of data solutions that power trusted business insights. You will perform data and business intelligence testing, create and execute test cases, validate data, and partner with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve defects.
What you'll do
- Perform data testing and business intelligence testing, applying knowledge of data warehouse (BigQuery on GCP) concepts to validate data solutions
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test data, and document testing activities, results, and evidence
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate, reconcile, and compare data across source systems and targets
- Perform data validation and root-cause analysis to identify, investigate, and help resolve data quality issues
- Manage defects and collaborate with developers and business analysts to enable efficient, high-quality testing
