Sr. Analyst Deployment (Logistics Operations)

About the role

As a Senior Analyst, Deployment, you will help ensure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time across the General Mills network. This role is responsible for creating and adjusting distribution and replenishment plans, balancing customer service, inventory, and transportation cost goals, and using systems such as SAP and OMP to support effective deployment decisions.

What you'll do

• Create and execute distribution plans at the product-location level to maintain target inventory levels and support customer service goals
• Monitor inventory, replenishment, and deployment exceptions, and take proactive action to reduce service risk, product expiration risk, and off-strategy movements
• Maintain system parameters accurately and on time to ensure deployment tools and planning outputs align with defined flow strategies
• Serve as a deployment point of contact for assigned sites, managing inbound and outbound inventory flow and supporting overflow and network balancing decisions
• Assess site and network conditions using available planning and reporting tools, and provide recommendations on load prioritization, shipment balancing
