About the role
The Senior Buyer, Transportation will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across transportation sub-categories such as Inbound, Spotting, Shuttling, and PET Network.
What you'll do
- Support the development and execution of multi-year holistic category strategies in collaboration with Category Manager, aligned to business objectives
- Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFI/RFP) for assigned sub-categories, structuring commercial models, negotiating terms and driving measurable savings
- Build HMM (Holistic Margin Management) and Total Value pipelines in accordance to sub-category targets; track savings and execute value-delivery initiatives
- Stakeholder leadership – provide sourcing guidance and process best practices to business leaders, supporting transportation initiatives
- Supplier Relationship Management – manage day-to-day supplier relationships, monitor performance
