About the role
Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform as the primary tool, supported by Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting; use PowerShell where required for Windows administration. Partner with solution teams, Enterprise Applications stakeholders, security, network, and service teams to define hosting standards, technical specifications, operational readiness, and support models.
What you'll do
- Operate and continuously improve the E-Apps infrastructure estate, including availability, performance, capacity, resilience, disaster recovery, patching, upgrades
- Design and provision GCP infrastructure using approved architecture and security patterns across compute, networking, IAM, load balancing, DNS, certificates, logging
- Build reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns and develop Ansible playbooks, Python utilities
- Administer and troubleshoot web and application platforms including IIS, JBoss, and Apache, with understanding of Java application hosting, reverse proxy configuration
- Implement observability and operational insight using Datadog and GCP monitoring/logging capabilities, including dashboards, metrics, logs, traces, alerting
