About the role
We are looking for a Java Software Engineer II to join our growing software development team, working on an important, internet-facing web application that provides payments initiation capabilities. The Software Engineer II role is to analyze requirements, develop and test code, and deploy efficient systems in support of the core organizational functions.
What you'll do
- 5-7 years experience building enterprise applications
- Utilizes up-to-date coding, testing, security, DevOps, and software engineering practices to maintain and create new applications that support business requirements
- Thoroughly tests systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency
- Exhibits DevOps and Agile mindset where team is accountable for product from inception to sunset
- Resolves complex technical problems across products using a DevSecOps approach, research industry best practices and conducts proof-of-concepts
