About the role
As part of the Enterprise Automation and Technology Enablement team at First Citizens Bank, the Senior Data Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining automated data workflows, integrations, reporting solutions, and operational automation platforms.
What you'll do
- Responsible for delivering value and managing risks for our lines of business
- Responsible for identifying automation opportunities, implementing scalable solutions, and supporting operational excellence initiatives
- Support operational teams by developing reusable automation frameworks and self-service capabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using scripting, APIs, orchestration tools, and low-code/no-code platforms where applicable
- Build and maintain data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes
