About the role
Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center is looking for a highly motivated Structures Engineer to join our Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering, Commercial Repairs team. This position involves analyzing repairs to ensure they meet original equipment manufacturing (OEM) requirements, supporting customer safety, cost, and reliability objectives.
What you'll do
- Perform structural assessments of repairs to commercial engine components with minimal guidance
- Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to develop design solutions that meet design and life requirements
- Build expertise in Integrated Product Development (IPD), Structures Engineering Knowledge System (EKS), and the Product Design Review process
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions
