About the role
GlobalLogic looking for a 3D Modeler to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality 3D assets and environments for mapping and visualization projects. The role involves transforming 2D source data into detailed 3D models such as roads, buildings, terrain, water bodies, and city structures.
What you'll do
- Develop understanding of relevant 3D tools, platforms, technologies, and processes as required, and demonstrate capability by delivering assigned project outputs
- Work with proprietary 3D tools, interpret 2D source material, and create accurate 3D models including, but not limited to, linear and intersecting roads
- Apply strong visual and spatial understanding to convert 2D source data into detailed and structured 3D representations
- Perform quality checks on input data to validate accuracy and consistency, with appropriate support and guidance
