About the role
You will work across Python microservices and a React micro-frontend, integrating large language models with clinical and operational data over FHIR and internal APIs, in a regulated environment where correctness, auditability, and PHI handling are first-class requirements.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain FastAPI services with Pydantic v2 models, async I/O, and comprehensive pytest coverage
- Build and maintain React micro-frontends in an Nx monorepo with TypeScript, including real-time UI driven by WebSocket or streaming events from backend services
- Integrate LLMs: prompt design, structured JSON outputs, tool calling, and prompt versioning
- Build evaluation harnesses for LLM behavior: golden fixtures, behavioral tests, and regression comparison across prompt and model changes
- Manage session and cache state in Redis with tenant and organization scoping
