About the role
The Head- Regulatory & Contracts is responsible for shaping GMR’s strategic response to evolving energy regulations, market structures, and contractual frameworks. This role is responsible for driving regulatory advocacy, facilitating thorough compliance with applicable legal and policy mandates, and managing high-value commercial agreements—particularly Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)—across the power value chain.
What you'll do
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
- Lead regulatory strategy and engagement with Electricity Regulatory Commissions to safeguard commercial interests and drive compliance with applicable regulations
- Monitor regulatory developments, tariff orders, and policy changes, advising business functions on implications and required actions
- Oversee the submissions of regulatory filings, petitions, and compliance reports to support business operations and commercial viability
