Technical Program Manager, GSRS, Physical Security

About the role

Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team is keeping Google employees safe and secure to manage disruptive incidents and crises, and to anticipate, deter, detect, and act.

What you'll do

• Analyze operational processes and business requirements to ensure alignment with the overall goal and delivery of the technology roadmap, new or existing products
• Deliver technology solutions against strategic plans through tactical activities such as gathering requirements, developing user stories
• Support evaluation, integration, and implementation of third party solutions
• Provide mentoring and guidance for junior colleagues, peers and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in physical security towards shared business goals and objectives
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions, gathering feedback and iterating to improve user experience and outcomes
