About the role
The Application Architect is responsible for the development and ownership of architectural solutions, leveraging standards, patterns, and framework, and maintaining an application’s data architecture that align to Enterprise Architecture’s Standards and Patterns as well as the business strategy and goals for the company.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and analyze business needs and current technical assets/data to develop and implement solutions and strategy for applications
- Perform application technology planning and drive technical product roadmaps with the product manager, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency, scalability
- Interact and communicate effectively with business sponsors, technology management, executives, end users, and subject matter experts
- Utilize and evangelize enterprise architecture strategies, including reference architectures and standards, use of application patterns
- Create and maintain technical application architecture depicting the Business and IT landscape in its current, transitional
