About the role
We are seeking an experienced Email Security Engineer with deep expertise in Proofpoint Email Security Gateway to strengthen our global cyber defense program. This role will focus on designing, managing, and optimizing secure email infrastructure to protect against phishing, malware, and advanced threats.
What you'll do
- Administer, configure, and maintain Proofpoint Email Security Gateway and related modules (TAP, TRAP, DLP, encryption, impersonation protection, etc.)
- Develop and manage email security policies for threat prevention, data protection, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor and analyze email traffic, quarantines, logs, and s to identify, investigate, and remediate threats
- Perform rule set tuning, phishing banner adjustments, and generate reports for continuous optimization
- Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence teams to respond to phishing campaigns and advanced email-based threats
