About the role
The VDI Engineer – Associate supports the administration, monitoring, and operational support of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms, primarily Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PCs. This role focuses on day ‑ to ‑ day execution, incident support, and maintenance of secure, scalable virtual desktop environments.
What you'll do
- Support and administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AVD Remote Apps and Windows 365 Cloud PC environments
- Managed, configured and optimized AVD environments using Nerdio Manager for Enterprise
- User onboarding and offboarding
- Image creation, image updates and refresh cycles
- Monitor VDI platform health, performance, and availability
