About the role
We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to own backend architecture across our platform and consumer products. This is a role for someone ready to move beyond owning individual services and take ownership of systems, architecture, people, and technical decisions. You'll lead a team of 4–10 engineers while remaining deeply hands-on, and work directly with Product and founders to shape what we build and how we scale it.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of 4–10 engineers while remaining deeply hands-on, and work directly with Product and founders to shape what we build and how we scale it
- Build and scale backend systems handling billions of requests and events per day
- Design real-time or near-real-time pipelines for ads, clicks, conversions, offers, rewards, and analytics
- Own architectural decisions across services, databases, caching, queues, and infrastructure
- Build and evolve backend services using Go and Kubernetes
