About the role
The Senior Manager, Impact Evaluation & MERL is the organization's lead practitioner on impact attribution and knowledge production. Reporting directly to the Director of Impact, this role owns the analytical and written output of the function, including flagship historical impact reports, academic study documents, donor submissions, and the organizational Impact Measurement Framework.
What you'll do
- Responsibilities are categorized by ownership level: Own (lead and accountable), Co-own (shared accountability with leadership)
- Impact Evaluation Design & Delivery
- Own the design and execution of impact attribution studies using methods such as Difference-in-Difference (DiD), synthetic control, regression discontinuity
- Own the production of methodology documentation suitable for academic sign-off and peer review
- Co-own the Impact Measurement Framework governing how impact is defined, measured, and reported across all programs
