About the role
As a Facade Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating shop drawings, schematic drawings, and detailing drawings of facades and building enclosures. Experience working on US projects is a must.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with internal architects, general contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative facade designs that meet project requirements
- Create shop drawings, schematic drawings, architectural layouts, presentation drawings, and elevations for various facade systems including rain screen, stone
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations in the design and documentation process
- Conduct technical analysis and calculations to determine the feasibility and performance of facade systems
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD or other relevant design software to create accurate and detailed drawings
