About the role
The Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for supervising a team of electrical designers and assisting in the development and production of 2D/3D drawing deliverables. Additionally, the Senior Electrical Designer also assists in the resolution of all technical design issues and directs the activities of other designers in the team to meet project schedule objectives.
What you'll do
- Manage the schedule for a team of designers on project or program including multidiscipline interactions
- Coordinate work with the lead electrical engineer, project and engineering managers including taking responsibility for timely release of team deliverables
- Responsible for quality of electrical designs performed by others in the design team
- Prepare design concepts for internal and client reviews in collaboration with engineering team
- Perform 3D model clash detection and coordinate electrical design with other disciplines
