About the role
Summary The Piping Designer / Senior Designer is responsible for the development of piping 3D models and 2D deliverables in accordance with project requirements and Hatch standards. The Piping Designer / Senior Designer assists in resolving piping technical issues and provides guidance to other designers as well as supervising and coordinating piping design tasks.
What you'll do
- Layout complex plant and piping systems using 3D modeling design tools
- Perform clash detection of models and other disciplines models and coordinate actions and closeout
- Model existing structures, plant and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards and project procedures for all design activities
- In conjunction with engineering staff, prepare design concepts for internal and client reviews
