About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electronics Component Engineer with 5–7 years of expertise in electronic component engineering and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will work closely with the design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure the availability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of electronic components used in our products.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, identify, and select electronic components (Passives, Actives, Magnetics, ICs, Connectors) based on design requirements
- Analyze component datasheets and specifications; collaborate with the Design team to suggest suitable and cost-effective alternatives
- Create and manage the electronic component library in Windchill
- Identify and qualify alternate sources from multiple manufacturers to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks
- Assess and resolve risks related to single sourcing, obsolescence, and long lead times
