About the role

The L2 Commvault Engineer is responsible for the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise backup and recovery environments using Commvault. The role ensures successful execution of backup operations, recovery requests, data protection compliance, and timely resolution of incidents while supporting business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.

What you'll do

• Backup Operations Management Monitor daily backup jobs and ensure successful completion of scheduled backups
• Investigate and resolve backup failures, alerts, and performance issues
• Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations for files, folders, databases, and virtual machines
• Validate backup success rates and maintain backup health across the environment
• Support backup policy creation, modification, and optimization
