Senior Data Scientist

About the role

senior engineering role is primarily focused on Fabric and should understand the end-to-end data-development workflow, from ingestion through processing in a Medallion architecture. The incumbent built an advanced metadata framework, so architecture, pipeline-stack design, deployment, and pipeline experience are relevant; visualization experience with Power BI and Fabric Data Agents is also useful.

What you'll do

• People Leadership and Team Development
• Support the Engineering Manager by taking the lead on L&D of the engineering team, managing the task loads of junior engineers to provide data product outcomes
• Line manage and grow a small team of data engineers; set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support career development
• Coach and mentor engineers across multiple squads; run regular technical training and hiring interviews
• Delivery and Program Ownership
