About the role
The Tier‑1 MCAD Support Engineer (Siemens NX) provides first‑line technical support for Mechanical CAD (MCAD) systems using Siemens NX in an enterprise engineering environment. The role focuses on user onboarding, access provisioning, installation, licensing, environment configuration, basic NX usage support, and NX‑PLM (Teamcenter) connectivity.
What you'll do
- Serve as first point of contact for Siemens NX user issues via ITSM tools (Jira)
- NX application launch failures
- Login and access problems
- License checkout and expiration errors
- Install and configure approved Siemens NX versions per enterprise standards
