About the role
Responsible for managing the commercial and cost control aspects of MEP works throughout the construction phase of building projects. The role focuses on interim valuations, change management, cost reporting, cashflow forecasting, and final account preparation, while providing technical cost advice based on construction methods, materials, and labor.
What you'll do
- Responsible for managing the commercial and cost control aspects of MEP works throughout the construction phase of building projects
- Use software tools (e.g., Cost X, AutoCAD) for quantity take-off and summarize quantities, transfer data into BOQs or cost plans including carrying out bulk checks
- Draft or Validate Bills of Quantities including carrying out bulk checks
- Support cost estimation activities by identifying basic material and labor rates and understanding rate analysis for standard work items
- Lead hospital construction/renovation projects involving MEP & biomedical systems
