About the role
You will support the Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer in ensuring the smooth operation of all engineering functions, including hotel systems, plant and equipment, team management, sub-contractors, and maintenance of property structure and assets.
What you'll do
- Support the Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer in ensuring the smooth operation of all engineering functions, including hotel systems, plant and equipment
- Ensure facility safety and compliance: Support the maintenance of the hotel’s buildings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems
- Supervise maintenance operations: Assign and oversee daily maintenance tasks, ensuring thorough documentation of completed work in the property management system
- Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and performance
- Oversee contractor work: Supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance
