About the role
Within Hitachi Energy Power Conversion Solutions, you will join a global, cross functional organization developing and industrializing high-power conversion platforms for renewable energy and energy storage applications. As Design Documentation Specialist, you will own the electrical and mechanical documentation that takes our power converters from engineering concept to serial production.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable lists and interconnection documentation for power conversion products
- Prepare mechanical part, assembly and installation drawings, including dimensions, tolerances and manufacturing notes
- Build and maintain manufacturing bills of materials, drawing structures, document indexes and product configuration records
- Implement engineering changes and ensure revision consistency across drawings, bills of materials, manuals and PLM/ERP records
- Support prototype and factory builds by resolving documentation gaps and incorporating verified feedback
