DevOps Lead

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Tech Lead to build and evolve the platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver software quickly, reliably and securely. This role will be 70% hands-on, 30% leadership (technical direction, mentoring, stakeholder comms). Part of the on-call rotation and leads the response to major production incidents.

What you'll do

• Scale, secure cloud infrastructure, plus reusable platform components, golden paths and self-service that cut teams' dependence on DevOps
• Terraform/IaC modules; containerized production on Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
• CI/CD and GitOps pipelines with safe defaults, rollback and drift detection
• Reliability of the data/messaging layer: SLOs, observability, incident response, blameless postmortems, and driving down MTTD/MTTR
• Security controls, least-privilege and secrets management; cloud-cost visibility and reduction
