About the role
The Senior Advanced Hardware Engineer is responsible for leading and executing Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE) initiatives across Honeywell Process Automation project portfolios and system offerings.
What you'll do
- Value Engineering & Component Engineering
- Drive end-to-end VE/CE projects from ideation through implementation
- Identify cost reduction opportunities in: Control systems, Cabinets and enclosures, I/O systems, Third-party hardware, Mechanical assemblies and electronic assemblies
- Develop engineering proposals focused on: Design simplification, Component substitution
- Platform reuse, Part count reduction
