Security Engineer

About the role

You will have the opportunity to build and harness AI tools to solve cutting edge security problems. This is a senior-level, hands-on individual contributor role in cybersecurity, spanning both operations and compliance domains. From an operational standpoint, you will be responsible for detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, cyber threat intelligence analysis, and adversary emulation exercises for our global infrastructure and systems.

What you'll do

• Partner with global Information Security, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering teams to support applicable regulation and local cybersecurity obligations
• Translate regulatory and security requirements into practical technical controls, implementation guidance, evidence, and reporting
• Assess security controls against applicable regulations and industry-standard frameworks, document risks and gaps, and coordinate remediation with accountable owners
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with HRT’s global teams, auditors, vendors, and other external stakeholders
• Help maintain HRT’s security detection and response program to protect our data and intellectual property from both internal and external threats
