Tax Analyst

What you'll do

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product and business to assess all tax aspects of new business lines and initiatives
• Provide subject matter expertise to various lines of business for global and local tax requirements, including VAT, CIT, and withholding taxes
• Support management in completing special tax projects and ad-hoc analysis, translating technical tax complexity into actionable insights for core business teams
• Bridge the gap between tax and business teams by using data and experimentation to measure the impact of taxes on Uber’s global growth and profitability
• Lead engagement with external audit requirements and tax authorities, navigating high-pressure situations with clarity, accountability, and grit
