About the Role Confluent’s Business Systems team is looking for a Business Systems Engineer III to help build and operate the systems that power a modern, consumption-based SaaS business. In this role, you will be a hands-on technical owner for executing improvements and enhancements in the Metronome platform.
What you'll do
- Partner with colleagues across functions and geographies, using data, technology
- Be a hands-on technical owner for executing improvements and enhancements in the Metronome platform
- Configure, design, develop, test, deploy, and debug business systems solutions that support usage, pricing, billing, entitlements, invoicing
- Work closely with experienced engineers, business systems partners, Finance, Revenue Operations, Engineering, Data
- Work within established architecture and delivery patterns while building the judgment to identify risks, clarify requirements, and recommend better approaches
