Manager - Purchasing

About the role

The position is responsible for executing the project procurement plan for his/her assigned project(s). Incumbent will coordinate procurement activities directly between the project team and the appropriate category manager for lead items. He / She will also work directly with suppliers of non-lead equipment to competitively support the project.

What you'll do

• Responsible for executing the project procurement plan for his/her assigned project(s)
• Coordinate procurement activities directly between the project team and the appropriate category manager for lead items
• Define, jointly with Project Management, project specific vendor list for proposal- and project execution
• Develop Commercial Bid Analysis under Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) consideration
• Ensure conduct of pre-award negotiations by category team
