About the role
This Safety Engineer position is part of the Functional Safety Competence Center and contributes to the development of safety-compliant semiconductor products. Key responsibilities are defining, analyzing, and validating safety concepts and architectures, including developing safety requirements and performing Safety Analyses.
What you'll do
- Define and develop functional and technical safety concepts based on product architecture, technology, and intended functionality
- Contribute to the capture and management of requirements using appropriate requirements management tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective implementation of safety concepts
- Perform safety analyses at IP and product levels, including FTA, DFA, and FMEDA
- Support the definition and review of safety verification and validation strategies
