About the role
This role is responsible for leading the design and analysis of thermodynamic and fluid mechanic systems like refrigeration cycles, heat exchangers, compression systems, flow valves and piping etc. Shall support the product development team on thermal systems & component analysis using transient simulation tools and empirical calculations.
What you'll do
- Performs a variety of thermal analysis on refrigeration and airflow systems and components using simulation tools as well as empirical calculations
- Creates and evaluates thermal designs for components like heat exchangers, flow valves, compression systems, airflow components like fans and blowers
- Should be able to work on new heat exchanger designs for new low GWP refrigerants
- Performs calculation on cycle balancing of components using empirical methods and simulation tools to optimize the system
- Able to perform heat exchanger design and analysis using LMTD, NTU method in shell and tube as well as in extended surfaces
