Senior Engineer – Modeling & Simulation (Individual Contributor) The Modeling & Simulation team is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Engineer – Acoustics to lead advanced predictive modeling efforts. In this role, you will apply state-of-the-art numerical methodologies to solve complex noise and vibration challenges across our diverse product portfolios.
What you'll do
- Advanced Modeling & Simulation: Develop, validate, and execute high-fidelity numerical models to predict and optimize the acoustic performance of HVAC systems
- Ü Aero-Acoustics & Fluid-Structure Interaction: Conduct Computational Aero-Acoustics (CAA) simulations to predict flow-induced noise, fan noise
- Ü Vibro-Acoustics & Structural Dynamics: Analyze structural-acoustic coupling, structure-borne noise transmission
- Ü Regional Commonization & Standards: Champion efforts to standardize and commonize acoustics simulation methodologies globally
- Collaborate with international design centers to harmonize workflows while addressing varying regional regulations and market requirements
