What you'll do
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics claims process, including claim intake, investigation, documentation, resolution, and closure for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments
- Lead, coach, and develop the claims team by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, conducting regular team meetings
- Collaborate with internal functions such as logistics, customer service, finance, and operations, as well as external stakeholders including customers, carriers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation laws, insurance requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate and complete claim records
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze claims trends and root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, reduce losses
